Traffic Architect full version launches with trains, new road tools, map editor and Steam Workshop

Traffic Architect is out on Windows and Mac in 12 languages, adding all stages, trains, a map editor and many fixes based on demo player reports.
What changed
- The full version is released on Windows and Mac, following a demo available since September.
In the full game
- All stages are included, where the demo stopped partway.
- Passenger and freight trains, stations and metro are added.
- Auto Bend curves a road onto another one, and Arc draws a circle arc of a chosen size; neither is in the demo.
- The map editor works with Steam Workshop for making and playing maps.
- Creative mode lets players build without losing.
- Hard difficulty, bigger maps and four more landmark buildings are added.
- Bus lines have no limit, and there are more save slots.
New since the last demo update
- Roundabouts are now true circles, and they can be far smaller, particularly with one-way, normal and gravel roads.
- Two-way rings no longer lock up when they fill.
- A bus arriving right behind the previous one waits a little at the stop, so buses do not bunch.
- Stops where two or more lines meet have extra room for people changing lines.
- Guidelines is a new setting: On draws dashed guide lines, while Snapping additionally fits a T square onto a road and aligns with nearby road ends.
- Angle and length are always shown while building.
- An overloaded building names the unreachable destination and marks it red.
- Clicking a car also shows the route it already drove.
- The ` key cycles map modes.
Traffic fixes
- Cars no longer stop one by one on a green when a car ahead turns into a building.
- Motorway ramps on a bend get correct lanes, and the extra lane no longer removes itself with a lag spike.
- Demand-responsive traffic lights no longer mix up car limits after loading a save.
Road tool fixes
- T junctions now snap to the closest spot to a junction that the rules permit, and not to places where the build would refuse them.
- Long roads snap less, so the end no longer jumps away from the cursor.
- The Interchange tool turns the second road only through allowed angles and builds no ramp on a neighboring road.
- Partial upgrade of a short road no longer leaves a piece that cannot be upgraded.
- Short pieces next to a bridge can be upgraded.
- The turn lane tool refuses less often and explains when a lane never joined the road behind it.
- The centre line is kept off a shallow Y where cars cross it, and lane lines end at the stop line.
Interface and saves
- Zooming in no longer goes under the map.
- If the graphics driver crashes, the game says so instead of showing a blank map.
- The overload banner no longer covers the map mode list.
- Esc on stats closes only the stats.
- A lost or deleted city can no longer come back from its backup.
- The game tells you when a save is restored from backup.
- Upkeep for buses is displayed per minute, so small and large buses are no longer shown as the same.
