Sulfur: How to Get to Dungeon Through the Hedge Maze

Reaching the Dungeon in Sulfur requires finding your way through the perplexing paths of the Hedge Maze by tracking the castle silhouette on the horizon and dispatching ocular stalkers with explosives.

Adventurers on their way toward the Castle must pass through the Dungeon, which sits right on the other side of the Hedge Maze. The labyrinth does not feature distinct floor tiers, but its winding corridors make it easy to get turned around. The primary navigation secret is watching the sky: observe the distant castle rising in the background and follow that structure as your compass heading. Maintaining your course toward the fortress guides you directly to the pathway leading forward.

As you traverse the hedges, bizarre sulfur-coated creatures studded with eyes pursue your character. These foes only register damage when their eyes take hits. Damaging all their eyes temporarily neutralizes the creatures, but they soon stand back up unless finished off. Lobbing a grenade or detonating explosive ammunition while they are prone eradicates them permanently. Once you reach the end of the maze, you enter the Dungeon proper, an extensive area spanning four tiers where the amulet altar awaits on the third level.
