Building an effective inventory begins with understanding how chests are categorized. Players need to gather weapons and gear, choosing the equipment that fits them best. Black chests will only ever have weapons and guns, making them your dedicated target for new firearms. In contrast, red chests will only ever have armor, while brown chests can have anything at all. Early on, players can find a pistol in a chest to equip themselves for combat.
In addition to scavenging dungeon floors, players can manufacture weapons back at home base. Continuing to battle with a specific gun earns mastery ranks up to Rank 5. Once a firearm reaches its peak tier, take it to Telia at the church sanctuary. Telia deconstructs the equipment, allowing you to access the neighboring chest to re-craft that weapon using some gold. Re-crafted guns return to Rank 0 without attachments or magical bonuses, giving you a fresh start with that weapon.
