Scrolls provide weapons with powerful effects that grant fired bullets a unique effect. A weapon can only hold one scroll enchantment at a time, and the process cannot be reversed once applied. Players looking to create specialized combinations can take two scrolls to the church sanctuary and consult the Scholar or Kevin. Mixing parchment allows for creative experimentation beyond basic elemental modifiers.

Unenchanted scrolls can be discovered as loot across dungeon levels or purchased from wandering traders such as the Blond Magus and Fex Shuen during runs. Combining matching items produces dramatic effects: fusing two Ember Scrolls turns ammunition into explosive bombs upon impact, while two Water Scrolls transform bullet streams into a water hose.
