REKA Hotfix 3 Cuts Memory Use, Adds Display Mode Setting, Fixes Old NVIDIA Black Screens

REKA 1.0.32.5f056e lowers RAM and video memory needs, adds a Display Mode setting and carryable Spirit Jar, and fixes black flashes on older NVIDIA cards plus several gameplay bugs.
What changed
- Version 1.0.32.5f056e is the build covered by Hotfix 3.
- The Display Mode setting replaces the Fullscreen toggle, with Borderless as the default.
- Graphics presets on first launch and Reset now pick Low for cards from 3 to 7 GB and Fastest only below 3 GB.
Memory and Performance
- Map loading and travelling no longer cause a short spike in video memory above what playing uses.
- At Medium 1080p the video memory peak dropped by about 0.8 GB.
- Shaders load once instead of up to six times.
- Chinese, Japanese and Cyrillic fonts load only when that language is selected.
- Memory leaks tied to travelling and save loading are fixed, so memory stops growing over long sessions.
- Many textures, meshes and animations use less memory.
- Animations of animals, villagers and dialogue use a lighter compression, and the developers ask players to report anything that looks off.
- On first launch and Reset, cards with 3 to 7 GB get Low graphics, while Fastest is chosen only under 3 GB.
- Map generation now uses the faster grass placement it was meant to use.
- Effects for fire, food steam, cursed areas, floating lights, Leshy and the Three Oaks shrine no longer make the graphics card report their size back every frame.
New Features
- The Display Mode setting takes the place of the Fullscreen toggle; Borderless is the default and existing saves keep their choice.
- In Borderless, a resolution shaped differently from your screen, such as 4:3 or 21:9, shows black bars instead of being stretched.
- The new Stretch to Fill setting stretches it again.
- The empty Spirit Jar can be carried home after a prompt and becomes a building block.
- Lutki drop more varied loot, and many items got updated loot tags.
- The Tonic of Connection building block now has moths.
Graphics Fixes
- Clouds and the sky glow around the sun produced broken pixel values on older NVIDIA cards, causing the black screens and flashes.
Gameplay Fixes
- Players can place orange chickens in nests again, and placed ones stay after loading.
- Growth accelerators work reliably and speed up plants consistently.
- Harvesting a plant can no longer be undone in building mode.
- Plant counters go down when plants are harvested, stored or removed.
- The watering can is always usable after the Siva shrine.
- The forgetful villager lesson works after completing the game.
Recipes, UI and Saves
- Default recipes are now revealed by crafting stations, so journal entries that were missing appear.
- The last flour recipe can be obtained again.
- Recipe progress on the reward page shows correctly.
- Shelf food is visible again on the travel screen and in quest item lists.
- Very old tutorial saves load correctly in a few more edge cases.
- The building hint about placing furniture on another surface appears after 1.5 s on that surface, not on placing.
- A loaded save is no longer recorded twice in the visited places history.
