Fields of Mistria: How to Get Horses and Upgrade Hayden's Barn

Acquiring horses in Fields of Mistria requires progressing the main narrative, funding an agricultural overhaul, and providing barn lodging.

To unlock Horses alongside Alpaca, Sheep, Rabbits, Ducks, and Capybara, players must complete the Upgrade Hayden's Barn storyline quest. To begin, advance through the 'Restocking Mistria's Food Reserves 2' assignment and speak with Adeline. Undertaking the expansion requires submitting 4,000 T, 400 Wood, 500 Stone, and 8 Iron Ingots. Completing this delivery permanently expands Hayden's animal shop offerings.

You must have an operational barn ready, as barns hold Horses, Cows, Alpacas, and Sheep. Once moved in, horses produce Horse Hair every three days. Raising a horse to heart level eight or higher unlocks valuable Golden Horse Hair. Horses feature various coat colors organized into tiers: Tier 1 (Champagne, Sandy Bay, or Spotted), Tier 2 (Chestnut, Black, White), Tier 3 (Pink, Blue, Purple), Tier 4 (Silver), and Tier 5 (Gold).
